"Support got back to me quicker than I expected"
I had some trouble logging into my account, so I opened a ticket and figured I’d be waiting a while. You know how these things usually go, you send something in and then kind of forget about it until an email pops up later. But support actually got back to me fast, which was a nice surprise. They explained what I needed to do clearly and I didn’t have to go through a bunch of back-and-forth messages. Anyway, it was fixed without much hassle, so overall I’m happy with how it went.

"The grind honestly works for me"
Progress can definitely feel slow at times, but personally, I kind of like that. I’m probably biased because I enjoy games where you have to work your way up, but earning each tank or plane piece by piece makes the unlocks feel way more satisfying to me.

"Matchmaking seems mostly fair, I guess"
The matchmaking has been better than I expected. Most matches feel even, and I’m not getting completely destroyed all the time, which is nice. I’m not totally sure it’s perfect, but for my level it seems fair enough so far...

"Mostly Fine, If You Enjoy Surprise Lag"
Most matches run well for me, so I’ll give credit where it’s due. Of course, in the evenings the lag spikes like to show up and remind me that nothing can just work perfectly. It’s not flawless by any means, but it’s still playable, and I can have fun with friends despite the occasional nonsense.

The new updates have been good lately. I’m not saying I was worried before or anything, but everything feels smoother now, so yeah, that’s nice.

"Looks Great Most of the Time"
I’ve got to say, War Thunder looks surprisingly good for a free game. The planes and tanks have a lot of detail, and some of the maps can look really impressive, especially when the lighting hits just right. To me, that’s one of the things that makes the game feel more immersive. That said, it’s not perfect. Every now and then the ground textures or shadows can look a little off, and if I push the settings too high, I definitely notice some performance drops. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something you pick up on after playing for a while. Overall, I’d give the graphics about 4 stars. In my opinion, it looks great most of the time, but a few areas could still use a bit more polish.

"Heads Up: 2FA Worked Fine for Me"
Just a quick warning for anyone worried about login problems: I’ve been using the 2FA and it’s worked fine so far. I haven’t had any issues getting into my account

"I do enjoy War Thunder at…"
I do enjoy War Thunder at times, but am I the only one who feels like the balance can make it really hard to have fun? Some vehicles seem way too strong for their BR, while others are just a painful grind. Getting uptiered so often makes it feel like you barely have a fair shot, which gets frustrating quickly. It feels like it could be an amazing game, but right now I end up annoyed more than I’d like...

"Tough start, but it got fun"
At first I thought this was going to be too hard for me, like I wasn’t sure I’d stick with it... but after a little while it started to click. Now I’m actually having a lot of fun with it and kind of look forward to coming back to it.

"Custom controls make a big difference"
I really like how much you can tweak the controls. It took me a little while to get everything set up, but once I did, flying felt way smoother and more natural. I’m guessing the default settings are probably fine for some people, but for my plane setup they just didn’t feel quite right. After changing things around, it’s way easier and more fun to play.

"Runs well, which is honestly a relief"
War Thunder has been smooth for me on PC. Matches load quick, the servers are usually stable, and I barely run into crashes. Even when there’s a lot happening on screen, the FPS holds up fine. after dealing with so many games and services that constantly need fixing, updates, queues, or some support ticket nonsense, it’s nice to have one that mostly just works. No major complaints from me...

"War Thunder feels surprisingly real to…"
War Thunder feels surprisingly real to me, especially when I’m in tanks or planes and I can actually tell that armor, angles, distance, and shot placement matter instead of it just being whoever fires first, and yeah the grind can get frustrating sometimes, but then you have one of those matches where everything clicks, the sounds are intense, the damage feels believable, and a good win actually feels like you earned it, so I keep coming back anyway

"I picked up premium on warthunder during a…"
I picked up premium on warthunder during a sale, it made the grind a lot less painful. I mean, you still have to actually play well, and some matches are still going to be frustrating no matter what, right? But the extra rewards really do add up and make progress feel smoother. I wouldn’t say it magically fixes everything, and I do think the full price might be a little much if you’re only playing casually. But if you’re logging in a few times a week, I feel like premium account is good value, especially on sale. Seems fair to give it 4 stars.

"Fun game, but the teamwork can be rough"
The game itself can be a lot of fun, especially when the action picks up, but the team communication really hurts the experience. In most matches, either nobody says anything at all or people just end up arguing in chat. It makes teamwork feel completely random, and in bigger battles that gets frustrating fast. I really want to enjoy it more, but it’s disappointing when a match that could’ve been exciting just turns into confusion and bickering.

"At Least They Actually Tell Us Stuff"
I’m giving it 4 stars because, to be fair, the devs are open when updates roll out. They usually explain what changed and why, even if I’m sitting there like, “Cool, but why would you do that?” The patch notes are clear enough, and they do respond to some of the bigger complaints, which is more than I can say for a lot of games. I just wish they moved a little faster sometimes, but hey, patience is apparently a feature now.

"The SOund is honestly so good"
The engines, gunshots, and planes all sound super loud and real. It makes every battle feel way more intense and Chaotic in the best way.

"Great for history nerds, with a few caveats"
I’ve put a fair bit of time into War Thunder, it does a solid job of making a lot of the tanks and planes feel close to their real-world counterparts, at least from what I know. The vehicle models look great, the nation lineups are fun to work through, and I always like when some weird or lesser-known machine shows up. Reading between the lines, you can tell the game is trying to balance history with gameplay, and that’s where it occasionally feels a little off. Some matchups or details don’t feel quite as realistic as they could, but overall it still really scratches that historical vehicle itch for me. I’d give it 4 stars...

"Still fun every time"
It just never gets boring. I keep coming back to it whenever I have a few minutes, and somehow it still feels fresh each time

"Salty chat, but I’m still hooked"
I’ve been playing War Thunder for a while now, the chat can be a mess sometimes. One match you’re just trying to enjoy a decent tank push or dogfight, and the next thing you know, people are yelling, blaming the whole team, or arguing over something tiny. It can get toxic, for sure, but I’d be lying if I said some of the drama wasn’t accidentally hilarious.

Once I started ignoring the worst of it, the game stayed really fun for me. The tanks and planes feel great to use, and even though the grind is long, I kind of knew what I was signing up for. There are definitely salty players everywhere, but I’m still having a good time with it. 5 stars from me.
